Hello all!
Or few... Probably just hello to my Momma (HI MOMMA!!!!), who will be the first, and possibly only, to read this post! :)
I have started a blog a time or two... ok, more than a time or two! I never really stuck with it because I never really published it or told anyone about it! This time, I plan to! So welcome to Red's Running!
This will be a blog/business (hopefully) for me that will allow me to better my own running while finding clients for my coaching business. Also, it will be an awesome way to get all of my random thoughts out to the general public to prove just how crazy I really am! :)
The catch? I am not certified to coach anyone in the field of running... *gasp!* EVEN THOUGH I am not currently certified, I plan to be! My grandfather, who passed away almost 6 years ago, has given me the opportunity to go to a RRCA Level 1 Training class! How, you ask, does a man give an opportunity like that nearly 6 years after he has left this world? That, my friends, is for another post! :)
By early December 2017, I hope to be officially certified to coach!
As far as this blog goes, I plan to post about my daily runs, or rest days! Also, get ready to see some adorable pictures of my 3 year old, Lynnleigh, and some almost-as-cute pictures of my dogs and hubby, Aaron! Here are a few of my humans to get you started!

Our awesome photographer, Brittany Carrier, took these photos. She does an amazing job! I HIGHLY recommend her! :)
Today's run will be a total of 5 easy miles. I have plans to run the Cleveland Marathon on May 21st. This will be my second marathon. My first was March 12 of this year, the Asheville Marathon, which handed my butt to me, FOR SURE. I will do a recap post of that race, or walk, or whatever you want to call it. ;)
I plan to run 2 of the 5 miles with my best running friend, Paula. You will see her often in this blog, I'm sure, as we run together frequently, I ran the terrible Asheville Marathon by her side. Her next race will be in October, until then she is running most of my training runs for Cleveland with me. We have a 20 miler planned for Sunday, 17 of which she will run with me! She's a trooper!
Off to run my 5 miler! Wish me luck!
