Saturday Shenanigans!

Yesterday started off with a very yummy breakfast!

An egg with olives and bleu cheese crumbles on toast that had been smeared with creamy hummus! So. Dang. Delicious!! Of course, Lynny had a pretty great breakfast, too. We had to start her birthday party day off right ;)

After breakfast we ran a few errands around town and got some things ready for her party. I went to the church to set up around 2 and at 4:30, we were partying hard! She had an absolute BLAST! Her birthday was Minecraft themed, which she was SO excited about!!

My Momma and Scotty made the cake. It was literally the cutest Minecraft cake I have ever seen!!

She was shy at first, but opened up after a few minutes. She didn't want to eat, despite all of her favorite foods being prepared, but playing is more important for a 3 year old ;)

Love her sweet smile when everyone was singing "Happy Birthday" to her!!

She got the cutest gifts!! She is one loved and spoiled little girl!

After her party, she went to spend the night with her Memaw and Pepaw (Aaron's parents) and Aaron and I had a date night. Before heading home for our movie-in-our-pjs date night, I needed gas. He's a sweet hubby and followed me to the gas station to fill my car up for me!

I needed to work on an assignment for a few minutes before we started our movie (I'm currently working towards an Ed.S. right now), so Aaron passed the time snoozing with his favorite cat, Nala. She is a Daddy's girl, for sure!!

After I made a few tweaks to a paper, we watched a movie. Well, Aaron watched a movie, I fell asleep. It was a busy day!

I ran my last 20 miler before my marathon in May! Recap on that coming tomorrow!

I forgot to add this picture of Lynny and me from Friday night at dinner, her smile is so sweet in this one. She loved my medal, so much that she broke it ;) Ha!
