Tasty Tuesday

How was your Tuesday? Mine started off looking and feeling a lot like this...

She refused a picture, but at least she was awake and talking to me on the way to the sitter :)

Also, my car ("Hank" as we lovingly refer to him) seems to be needing attention. Monday it was the tire, now the washer fluid is low. You're being dramatic, Hank! Get it together!

About halfway to the sitter's house I got a text from Paula asking if I was going to go with her to pick up breakfast... I COMPLETELY forgot that the PTSA was bringing us Chick-fil-A biscuits!! I was running late (only by 10 minutes ;) not too late), so I told her I would be there as soon as I could! I dropped Lynny off and hurried to the school (No, Officer Hagy, I did not obey all speed limits and traffic laws... and I'm pretty sure there might have been a light that I ignored when it was about to turn red :D ). I made it to the school with plenty of time to spare! I met Paula and we went to grab our breakfast. They had mini chicken biscuits and the original chicken biscuits, plus a tray of yummy fruit with caramel sauce! We got one of each of the biscuits and a heaping pile of fruit! Here is the picture!!!

That's right, I forgot to take one before I started eating ;) I don't regret it. It was an awesome breakfast!

I wore my pretty new LuLaRoe outfit. I love the colors!! The LuLaRoe line of clothing is amazing. I have so much, it's almost embarrassing... Almost ;)

I got my grapes out for a great mid-morning snack! They were really close to the freezer in my mini fridge, so they were a little frozen. I LOVE frozen grapes, so I was completely fine with that!

After another class, it was lunch time. I go to Paula's office to eat. She loves when I bring peppers and her office smells like them for the rest of the day ;)

My husband fixed the pork chops after he got home Monday night (late!). They were SO delicious! Have I mentioned he is a great cook?!?

I didn't really have anything to eat as a side, so I just threw in some frozen peppers, onions, and edamame and left it at that. It was delicious! I also forgot a knife, which is why this is what Paula got to watch all through lunch.

She grabbed me some watermelon from the cafeteria. It was pretty good!

Her husband brought her a donut, she shared!

Then it was off for our usual walk around the school. She has a really nice running bag that I am pretty jealous about... I can't find one like it anywhere!! :(

I also decided to look at my countdown thing for my marathon, I hadn't looked at it in a while... Holy moly! That is close!!

After school I went to pick up Lynny and we met the Nichols gang at the local trail for a run. I pushed Lynny in the stroller and the boys rode their bikes while Paula, Billy (her husband), and I ran. Lynny really likes her stroller ;)

Paula wanted to run 3 and I needed 4, so at 1.5 miles out, she took Lynny and one of her boys and turned around while Billy, their other boy, and I kept going until we got 2 miles before we turned around.

Our finishing photo ;)

We ran 4 miles at a average 9:59 pace. It was a good run and flew by!! It always helps to have buddies along on runs!

I ran in my new Launch 4s, the new peacock ones! They are GORGEOUS! I've only put a little under 20 miles on them, but I am loving them so far!!

It was time to part ways and someone was not happy about leaving her friends...

A trip to the playground sure cheered her up!

We love this little playground. It is perfect for younger kids!

She is pretty dang cute ;)

And pretty strong...

She sure loves this place!

After the park we headed home. As soon as we walk through the door, the shoes and socks come off. She's definitely my child ;)

Aaron came home (on time!!!) and we sat down for dinner... more pork chops!

They are so delicious!!

Someone said they weren't feeling well, she's been a bit under-the-weather for a few days... not as active as usual. We were planning on going out to get Aaron a new pair of running shoes, but decided to stay in for the night since Lynny was a little pitiful :(

Lynny perked up a little so we went out for some ice cream late last night, my throat has been hurting a little bit and Aaron suggested something cold to see if it made it feel better. I think it is just allergies, but I didn't argue with the ice cream suggestion ;)

I'll be attempting to get 5 miles in after work and before gymnastics today. I think I'll run these at my marathon goal pace, about 10:30ish. We'll see how it goes!!

What are your running plans today?

Would you rather run alone or with friends?

What shoes are you running in?
