Good Monday morning! This is my LAST bus duty morning!!!!!

Yesterday was Mother's Day. We woke up and got ready for church with my Momma and Scotty. After church, we headed to Olive Garden- my Momma's FAVORITE restaurant! It was so delicious! They even had roses for all of the mothers there! It was very sweet. Lynnleigh kept saying they were hers ;)

After lunch, we ran home really quick to finish my Momma's present- all the rain and whatnot kept us from finishing two presents, one for my mom and one for Aaron's mom. I WILL get Amy's finished this week! We made my mom some yard art. She loved it!

I also had one of my bests make her a bee- SO STINKING CUTE!! You can get all kinds of stuff in her Etsy shop!!

After that, my seniors graduated. The ceremony lasted about an hour (CRAZY FAST) and I was back home in no time! Luckily Lynnleigh napped while I was gone, so I didn't miss much time with her! When I got home, I had some Mother's Day gifts waiting on me! GERBER DAISIES!!!

They are my favorite! I used them in our wedding, they are just so pretty!! I loved the box that hangs off my porch- it was perfect! Lynnleigh was very proud of herself for helping plant them!

Our baby birds flew away :( I was more upset than Lynnleigh... Luckily, a NEW nest appeared in one of our ferns, and now has an egg!! So now we have at least one baby to look forward to watching!

I also got some new workout clothes and a gym tote! It is crazy pretty!

We were planning on having chicken for dinner, which I requested, but at the last minute I asked if we could just do a picnic at the park instead.

It was so beautiful outside, and I knew Lynny would LOVE to play, so I thought that would be an awesome dinner idea ;) Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the win!! I also took some cake we had for dessert- but I was the only one who ate it.

Lynny played for over an hour. She has SO much energy!

And ZERO ounces of fear!

Then we went to get her and Aaron ice cream (exactly why they didn't eat the cake- those two are sneaky). After that it was back to the house to get things ready for our LAST WEEK OF WORK!!! I am so excited!!!

It was a great Mother's Day, for sure!

My back is still hurting. I am going to attempt 3 miles today, we will see how it goes! Have a great Monday!!

Are you training for any races? What did you do for Mother's Day?

Would you rather have ice cream or cake?
