Hello and HAPPY FRIDAY!!!
I have a BUSY weekend ahead, and I am so excited about every single piece of it!
Yesterday started out with a trip with my favorite little girl to the Hands On Museum! I had to get the crossbars I had ordered for my car installed and decided to make a day of it since Aaron was sleeping at home. I got my crossbars, Lynny got TONS of playtime in at a GREAT place for kids, and Aaron got to sleep. I feel like it was a win-win-win!
Lynny wasn't happy about getting up early, but she was excited about her surprise. I told her I had a surprise for her, but wouldn't tell her what it was. She was SO excited when we got there!

We stopped to get gas on the way. Holy cow I love my new car and its small gas tank ;)

When we first arrived, she went straight for the grocery store part of the museum- her favorite!

She climbed in the tree house...

Played in the canal...

Played banker...

Went BACK to the grocery store...

Danced on the stage...

Picked some vegetables...

Cut using scissors for the FIRST TIME...

And played with some blocks...

This place is SO AWESOME for kids! It keeps them contained (hallelujah), and entertained! It worked beautifully for a rainy, and rather chilly, morning!
We drove to the car dealership after we left the museum. We ate lunch while we waited on the crossbars to be installed. She loves Chic-Fil-A!

On the way back, she was out! She had a big morning!

We all played lazy for a bit then it was time for dance class! Her last until August! She wouldn't look at me... I apparently take too many pictures ;)

Patting her head and rubbing her belly at the same time (hilarious)!

We got home from dance and I cleaned our kitchen. I had let it get way out of control.
I had a little helper. Maybe she'll help me clean the living room tonight?!

Aaron headed off to work and Lynny and I played and I also worked on two track workouts I'm doing today and paperwork for an initial meeting I'm doing with a NEW CLIENT! I am SOOOO excited for her! I know she is going to knock out her goals, and I cannot wait to see it!
Today the post is about Friday Favorites. I'm including the links to 4 of my favorite running bloggers, who inspired me to start blogging about my running. They are MUCH farther along than me (blogging is their JOB- how awesome is that?), but they seem so relatable and down-to-earth. I keep up with them on a daily basis and thought you all might enjoy their pages, as well!
Charlie is from the UK. She is so funny (she peed on herself while running Boston and told it in the best way! Ha!). She does all kinds of reviews, and she is brutally honest. Definitely check her out!
Kelly is a badass woman. There is just no other word. She believes in empowering women and encouraging them to run (especially in their sports bras- she believes there is NO shame in doing this, no matter what shape you're in!). She is HILARIOUS, and does a lot of VLOGS. She was chasing a BQ (Boston Qualifying time), and has missed it both times she has tried. She is so open about her feelings, you can't help but cheer for her in hopes she hits that goal! If you want a confidence boost, especially if you're a female, check out her blog and YouTube channel!
Monica is a red headed Mexican and talks about the fact that she is odd on a regular basis. I never read this blog without laughing at some point! She runs marathons and half marathons on a whim just for practice, and even does some of the Disney races with awesome costumes (her latest Ariel was my FAVORITE!). When she goes through rough times, she shares some details and always has some amazing life advice to dish out that can really help you if you're going through some issues. Don't miss out this girl's blog!
AND NUMBER 1! 1. Hungry Runner Girl
This is my FAVORITE running blog. I love how honest and sincere Janae is. She has been blogging for YEARS (I've been following it for at least 5 years now) and definitely spills her heart out. She has documented pregnancy, divorce, single motherhood, finding love again, and lots more all while incorporating running into her blog. She describes so perfectly how running can make even the worst days better and sometimes how running can ruin a good day (didn't hit the times you were planning?). She is awesome. If you only have time to check out one blog, THIS is the one I recommend the most! She is one of the main reasons I began blogging, and trying to be a better runner!!
Today will be so fun for me and I cannot wait to get it started! I hope you all have a FABULOUS Friday! Keep checking back!
