Never in a million, make that 756 million, years did I ever think I'd type Metallica on this blog. Or ever... I am not a fan of Metallica, but my hubs is and I try to be an ok wife. He's pretty great and about supporting me and my dreams... Seeing Metallica in concert was one of his big things on his bucket list. We checked it off yesterday and I can't remember seeing him that excited about many other things he has done ;)

Don't ask me which one that is. I don't know. I don't know any of them.

It was in Atlanta. HOTlanta as I lovingly refer to it... I had LaBoo make me a shirt that silently expressed how I felt. I got a ton of compliments on it, they liked my honesty... ha! I had a few people request to take my picture. It was pretty hilarious.

We were in the first row. Aaron was so excited. It was crazy that we stood there starting at 4 and the show didn't start until 6. We had to stay to hold our place. I didn't move from a 2 foot box (which was frequently smaller) for 7 hours. I was hot, dehydrated, clostrophobic, and hungry... however, Aaron was too excited the whole time and I couldn't ask him if we could go to the back where there was A TON OF ROOM (PSA to all those concert-goers, QUIT PUSHING TOWARDS THE FRONT, ya jack wagons)!!

Aaron did take me to the Georgia Aquarium Saturday night! I was so excited!!!! I saw dolphins, belugas, whale sharks, and PENGUINS!!!!

I've never been this close to a penguin! They had little bubbles you could pop up in and there was a penguin RIGHT THERE! I literally almost cried. I was so excited. My glasses even fogged up!

I had a blast!
On the way to Atlanta, we stopped to use the restroom and to get some liquid gold... we stopped during a torrential downpour and we got SOAKED.

My sis-in-law and I took some pretty epic pics on this trip... especially SnapChats...

Bright and early before we left for Atlanta, Paula, Billy and I ran 8 miles. It was hot, for sure, even though it was early.

I think our goal was 11:40. Close enough ;)
I didn't run any while in Atlanta. I'm still the on "do whatever I want" plan. That'll change next week, when I start my half training for September. I need to get on making that plan pretty soon ;)
Friday was pretty laid back for us. We had a picnic.

And played.

And we also colored with our pups...

I hope you all had an awesome weekend! We sure did!
