I have to work today. WORK. During the summer... It isn't fair. I also have to work tomorrow... and next Tuesday. I don't understand this concept of work in July.....

Monday consisted of LOTS of rest after the concert. My mother, bless her soul, took Monday off to keep Lynny so that I could sleep a few extra hours. Our group got home at 6am Monday, I slept until 9, then got up to meet Mom for Lynny's swim lesson. Lynny is doing AWESOME, I am so proud of her! We went to "The Cow Place", aka Chic-fil-A, after to eat. Lynny had to feed that sweet monkey of hers from Auntie Em!

I got home and we took a nap- thank goodness! When we all three woke up (Aaron slept all day-he had to work Monday night! I don't know how he did it!), we gave Lynny her gift from the aquarium. She loved it!

I snacked on some watermelon ;)

Aaron went to work and Lynny and I spent most of the evening outside. My cousin is moving back to town (yay!), and her kids came over to play for about an hour. Lynny had a blast!

Lynny and I woke up yesterday morning and met Paula for a play! We had some breakfast first! (PS- The "portrait" filter on the iPhone 7 is LEGIT- try it!!!)

Those freckles make me so happy :)

We saw Cinderella- Lynny was so excited! Paula's mom bought us the tickets- she is AWESOME!

ALL Lynny could talk about was giving Cinderella a hug. She got her chance after the show and Cinderella thought it was the absolute sweetest thing ever! It's all Lynny could talk about after we left!

We came home and I watched my cousin's boys for her for a few hours. Lynny was so excited to have friends over! We had lunch...

Then we spent most of the afternoon playing outside, only coming in when they got hot to cool off before heading right back out!

Major was the guard dog... Lynny is a daredevil....

Clyde just smiled the entire afternoon ;) (PORTRAIT!)

After the boys left, Lynny and I met Paula for the second time that day to get a 4 miler in. We ALMOST had negative splits! The goal pace was 10:40. Close enough ;)

Lynny got some sprinting in with me and with Paula.

Then we took a group picture. Lynny loves hanging out with her Lala!

When we got home, Lynny started some in her new workbook my Momma got her.

She was doing REALLY well, and even drew two As all by herself! She scribbled over them after, but they were AWESOME! I was so proud, and so was she!

After that, we hopped in bed to watch Moana, and we were both asleep before it was over ;) My kind of night!

Tomorrow I want to go over my plan for the next half marathon with you, which will hopefully give you an idea about what exactly you get from me, as a coach, if you choose to have me build a plan for you! If you've been considering hiring a coach (any coach) to help your running, make sure to check back tomorrow to see what a coach can offer!!

You all have a WONDERFUL Wednesday, halfway to Friday!

Do you work during the summer? (HOW?!?!)

Have you seen any good plays or movies lately? Any to recommend for a 3 year old? (Cinderella was great!)

What activities do you do with your toddler to help prepare them for school?

How have your runs gone so far this week?
