Yesterday was my last weekday home for maternity leave. I spent the majority of it cuddling my kiddos and trying not to think about the fact I go back to work Monday.

Aaron had to work, but the girls and I enjoyed breakfast together.

Then I decided to brave Walmart by myself with two kids... the kids were great but the people in Walmart... Well... If you’ve ever been to Walmart you know... People. Drive. Me. Crazy. The level of rude there is outrageous. I'm ready to fight 95% of the time I am there.

I got these for lunches. I love them and they have a good amount of protein. Not to mention they are ready in 1 minute or less.

I also eat my weight in these. I try not to keep them in my cabinets because I literally cannot stop eating them.

She looked darn cute for our trip.

I worked for a few on my running goals! I have pinpointed my first half, but I need to make my running plan. If I use a Hanson’s method (find the book here), I’ll need 16 weeks to prepare. So that’s starting February 9th for me. Planning anything looks a lot like this these days ;)

Daddy came home and we were all excited to see him!

I changed and headed out to meet Paula for my first postpartum speed workout! She is a sneaky trickster and I agreed to doing her workout with her BEFORE I realized it would cause loads of pain and agony. It consisted of a 10 minute warmup/run followed by 12x30 second hill sprints with 90 second recovery between them.

It. Was. Awful.

I. Am. Sore.

But we got it done and ran/walked a 5 minute cool down.

I got home and my parents spoiled us with Panda Express. Aaron and I LOVE their food and we were so happy and full ;)

We ended the night with a game of Frozen Trouble. Lynnleigh got this for Christmas and she couldn’t wait to play! She won. As always.

I’m off to snuggle this baby and her sister as much as I can before Monday! Y’all have a good Saturday and we’ll see if I get something up tomorrow ;)

Do you love speed workouts?

What’s your favorite restaurant? What are your favorite quick or easy to prep lunches? I need ideas for when I go back to work!
