Sunday Funday

Sundays are one of my favorite days. Church followed by some family time. However, Sunday nights are not my favorite. Yesterday was the worst Sunday in all of Sundays. It was my last Sunday at home on maternity leave and I. Cried. All. Night.

I held my littles and cried. I got bags together and cried. I brushed my teeth and cried. My eyes were so swollen. It was a good look.

Yesterday started off well! Paula joined Reid and I for church. Lynnleigh usually rides with my parents because I am not nearly as cool as them. Nor do I give her her every desire like they do... She hears the word "no" from us more often than from them ;)

Aaron goes in his cruiser because he works for the security team there. Getting ready for church looks a lot different these days ;)

We stopped and got coffee after church. I’m serious. Go get one of these. It tasted even better because it was my free birthday coffee ;)

We came home from church and Reid and I waited on Lynnleigh and Aaron to get home. We then went to Walmart. AGAIN. I never remember everything. Ever.

After our 3,578th trip to Walmart this week, we came home and I got to packing. I packed Lynnleigh's bag. I packed Reid's bag- both- I keep one with me and leave one at the sitter's. I packed my snack bag- both- I have a cold one and just a normal one... I've been out of my classroom for 3 months- I need to replenish my snacks ;)

I packed my work bag. I packed my pump bag... I'm still nursing and pumping on the daily. I am a cow. A pretty lady cow.

So. Many. Bags.

Paula made some Oreo goodies and brought me some. I ate them while I cried.

I meal prepped during dinner... Breakfast of champions for a week prepped.

I found these at Walmart and I cannot wait to try them. I love the idea of the flavored tuna other than the fact that I hate tuna.... So I'm hoping I love the chicken. They were $1, I felt like it was a great deal and a great way to up my protein without eating 742 eggs each day...

I used yesterday as a rest day so the entire remainder of the night I put my phone aside and just cuddled while my kiddos were with me. When the babe would sleep, I would cry and watch my favorite show. Lynny was pretending to be my doctor and diagnosed me with a broken heart. Dead on, sister... Dead. On.

I will sure miss this face tomorrow.

Her sis convinced her daddy to let her sleep with us last night... It doesn't happen often anymore, but she was pretty convincing last night ;) I loved having both of my babies near me, not gonna lie. And they both slept well, Reid slept from 10-6!

Y'all enjoy your day. Think of me while I'm crying at my desk!

Do you have kids?

What do you do on rest days?

Any snack suggestions?? I need quick and easy- something to eat while I teach or shove in my face in the 5 minutes between classes ;)
