Hey, look! I’m not sad!

I’m ecstatic!!

We got a snow day yesterday and I got to stay home and cuddle my girls all day!! Our day looked a lot like this...

And this....

I ain’t even mad that I was finishing my shower at 5:29 when I got the 2 hour delay message from our district. I climbed right back into bed and slept another hour or so!

I have forbidden myself from using a curling iron or straightener for the month of January... I used them both a lot in December. I just really like my hair curled.... I feel prettier with long curled locks...

BUT, I can tell my hair is not happy, so I told myself January, and maybe February, will be heatless hair months. Other than the hair dryer on occasion.

Thanks to this great invention, I could re-wet my hair in order to use the products I use.

I got up, again, and did my makeup, hair, and packed Lynnleigh’s lunch. I was starting to pack mine when I got the message that we were closed.

Still. Wasn’t. Mad.

I went straight back to cuddle and play with my littles.

My dad brought us pretzels and we were so excited!!

Aaron still had to work... boo. But when he got back home, I handed off the kiddos and met Paula for her workout. We ran a little over a 5k and I felt great!

Our RoadIDs came in, and they are awesome! Mine attaches straight to my Garmin and it is so nice to not have to remember to bring yet another running item in my bag! I'm just going to leave it on there all of the time.

I broke in my new running shoes. I am in love. I didn't know if I'd really like the color combo on them, but they were the only ones that were in my size from the place I ordered and I had a coupon so I didn't really care. Remember... I'm poor...

But they are GORGEOUS in person!! I love them. If you have ever worn Ghosts, the 12s are really similar to the 10s, which I think were the best... The 11s were ok. But the 12s definitely go back to how the 10s felt and it is glorious!

I came home and Aaron went to the gym, Lynnleigh wanted to join him. That meant I got a few extra minutes of one-on-one time with Reid. She slept for half of it... Of course!
