Rest Days are the Best Days and Let's Talk About Clutter

Happy Wednesday!! Halfway through the week! Hallelujah!
Yesterday was allllll about rest for me. I ran three days in a row, and while prior to having kiddos it was doable, right now it means I need a rest day. My back is still kind of off, but feels much better than it did Monday. I'm hoping tomorrow I'll be healed.
Yesterday I was determined to stay on my diet. We have a challenge going on at work, and Mama needs the cash. The pot is almost equal to an entire month's worth of babysitting ;) We need all the help we can get....
My lunch was divine...

Snack, too. These things are my favorite. I'm trying not to eat one every single day because I don't want to get tired of them...

But I ate 3 on Saturday! OOPS!
I let this little one have my donut when she got off the bus, even though I had it set to where it would fit in my diet....

Winning at #momlife right now...
Lynnleigh ate dinner before us because she didn't like what we were having... She likes to lick the yogurt. Don't ask.

Dinner included shrimp and is DELICIOUS! It's a garlic butter shrimp and rice recipe and we eat all of it in one sitting... No leftovers..

I hung out with the girls the remainder of the evening while I got the rest of the stuff for today ready. I cleaned the kitchen a little, and even cleaned out my closet some. My devotion is about uncluttering your life. I really feel like I need to do this. We have SO MUCH stuff, and don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for all we have...
But it just feels like too much. So I'm starting with my closet, again. I did this less than a month ago, but I held on to some clothes I don't need. So I went through it again last night... Send help.
I ordered me some things from Old Navy that fit my body NOW, where I am. I can get them tailored if I keep losing weight. I've lost 7 pounds since mid-December. I gained a little over 40 pounds while pregnant with Reid... whoops!
Of that 40 pounds, I've lost 23. So I'd love to lose another 20-25 pounds. Maybe 30. I was trying to lose 10 more pounds when I got pregnant... Whoops again!
SOOOO, moral of the story, I want to take everything out of my closet that I truly, honestly, do not wear. If I haven't worn it in the last year, I don't need to keep it. If it looks a little too worn, I don't need it.
To help myself with this goal, I'm going to give myself rewards. When I hit certain goals (not all weight-based, I think that's important to note), I get something or get to do something.
Once I hit my goal size (not just weight, size is different), I can buy myself some new clothing. Maybe knowing I get new things that are in style right now will help me let go of some of the things I've been clinging to like a mad woman that aren't necessarily as popular now (HELLO LULAROE LEGGINGS, anybody else?!). We will see how it goes.
I plan to do this closet thing each night but be finished by Sunday. Unless Aaron has homework... then that may have to wait ;)
I've heard of turning all of your coat hangers the opposite way, then when you wear something put it in your closet with the coat hanger turned the right way and that shows you what you do/don't wear. Gah, that seems like a chore! I'm thinking of using that to finish the purge. We will see.
Today I have another foundation run from the 80/20 book scheduled! Hopefully I feel as good with it as I did Monday!
I hope you all have a great day!
Have you done a closet purge?
Where is the best place to donate clothing?
